Christmas Fairs, and other devilish things…

It looks like I have run out of time for the making of any more baubles because the event rapidly approaching is our Christmas Art Fair – on Friday in fact they will have to be ready for sale, and a few people have got in quick and emailed me for some, too.

I have two Christmas events coming up, one weekend after another:
Christmas at Spring Farm – 30th November to 2nd December
Christmas fair at Ilminster Arts Centre – Saturday 8th December
(see the exhibitions page on my website for more info and opening times)

So I though a better airing of baubles on the blog was in order, now a whole lot of them are all shiny and finished, and I am quite pleased with the new silhouette ones that are this year’s idea. The baubles will be for sale at both the Christmas events mentioned above, but if anyone can’t visit and is still interested in buying one or several they are £8 – £15 each and you are welcome to email me for more information.

These are fun to do… which is just as well because they are massively time-consuming for mere baubles, but I knew that before I started. Sometimes things are just worth doing. And it gives other people the opportunity to hang devils on their Christmas trees, which is always a good thing 🙂 So, from tomorrow, it is a couple of days running round, re-hanging pictures, mounting prints and generally getting the place back into order again for our last ‘home’ event of the year – the last of our Spring Farm Arts openings until next year. To see the work of the other artists I share this group with, have a look at the Spring Farm Arts website, and the flier for our ‘Christmas at Spring Farm’ event gives you another taste of some of what we have to offer:

Now, I am going to leave you with a few photos of Baubles in Production as I have a busy weekend ahead….
