Set Fire to my Art: part 2

I have finally finished enough candles to supply 3 exhibitions, and have time (barely) to photograph some of them. Sadly no time yet to tell you how it’s done… later…

All candles decorated with original drawings, no prints. Angels and Demons is the general theme, it being near to Christmas, though personally I find such characters have a year-round appeal 🙂

  1. I wouldn’t set fire to these, way too beautiful!

    1. Aww thank you 🙂 …I am telling people to think of it as an ornament with an option on burning it when/if they get bored of it, rather than that it hangs around and outstays its welcome, making you feel guilty about what to do with it…!

  7. I agree, it would be hard to light up these creations! Stunning!

    1. Than you! A friend of mine bought several and did light them, and when i last saw them they were at least a third burnt down but with the outside (with picture) still intact… not sure if this is partly because of the tissue-paper. Will have to have a look at what happened to them at some point to see how long the pictures survived!
