I have one more silhouette drawing to show you, which I completed before the Octoparty – I snuck the latter in out of sequence because there really have been a lot of fairies lately, and more to add to the blog.
Some years back I did a series of drawings called ‘Fornicating Fairies’… they need no more explanation than that. I then added a drawing to the series where, well, you just couldn’t quite see if…they weren’t… or were they…? You get my drift.
I called that one Frolicking Fairies. There was much frolicking.
This is along the same lines: ‘Frolicking Fairies II’ …unless some unique title is found to fit it better.

…the close-up images below show more of the pencil colour of the original. Though on screen the pencil always looks more uneven than it is in the flesh (excuse the pun), because of the shine on it.

wonderful work, as a child I was/am still ?? convinced tat every night myelf & classmates would become fairies and fly around the vicinity tidying up people’s gardens & sheds. glad to say I am an artist now. All the best with your work, love to see more. thanks
Thank you Ann 🙂 …I fear that these are the sort of fairies that fly around making everything untidy. I am sure my house is infested with this sort, there’s no other explanation!
