I shall be taking part once more in Somerset Arts weeks, however there will be a change to the usual nature of things…
“Normal service is interrupted: Nancy has gone swimming, and returned with sketches and scribbles both humorous and evocative, of a year spent jumping into cold water, through summer and winter. In anticipation of SAW’s theme of Momentum, she didn’t stop, even in February. Digital drawings created from memory and imagination, without the aid of a waterproof camera. Fairies will also be available, but this is the year of the mermaid.”
Opening times: Wednesdays – Sundays, 11am – 5pm, 3rd – 18th October
Venue: The Old Farmhouse, Pit hill Lane, Moorlinch, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA7 9BT
The venue is my house, next to the pub in Moorlinch, see map below.
Venue 103 in the Somerset Art Weeks guidebook

Please note: I shall be exhibiting in my little gallery at the back of my house, and NOT up at Spring Farm as previously advertised! This is generally the year for group exhibitions, but Somerset Arts Weeks allows solo exhibitions if they are in-keeping with their theme, and this is why I’ve decided to show a whole different lot of drawings to what you might expect, and it’s a good opportunity for a change.
I shall make room elsewhere in the house for you to see my ‘normal’ fairy-type pictures, but the very new pictures I am developing with the general idea of A Westcountry Bestiary will not be on display as they are being hoarded and kept for a solo show at Ilminster Arts Centre in 2016. This way I will have a sizeable group of new things to show for each exhibition.
