‘The Pigs of High Ham’ is part of my ‘Westcountry Bestiary’ theme – local magical creatures to be found near to where I live. One can hardly get closer than High Ham, lying as it does a mere 2 miles or so as the pig flies. I already covered some of the technicalities of ‘How Pigs Fly‘ in one of my blog posts on this painting, and you can also see a few technical details of how it is painted in this post on my blog.
