Paper ‘Angel’ no.2

Ok, this fellow is… a bit of a little devil, but in the interests of equality one should not forget devils at Christmas. My plan is to have a group – I think it will be 7 – as a collection compiled in a booklet that you can deconstruct, colour in and make up. Technically the booklet aspect is completely unnecessary, EXCEPT that I feel it will make a nice presentation and a nice gift, better than a handful of printed sheets. Two’s Company

One of the first of some silhouette drawings that I have been doing. I have to say that I thought this picture was rather too sweet for me, but when I posted it on my Facebook page it got more likes than anything has for a very long time, so there, maybe I should be sweeter! I’m not going to change though 😉 Personally, I particularly like the dandelions in the grass, being a bit of a fan of dandelions. I cannot currently think of an excellent title for this so it is going by the name of ‘Two’s Company’ unless…

The Devil’s in my Baubles 2

Just a quick post, as I take a break from etching stuff (of which more later). Some more progress on the baubles: These of course are a couple of new pictures prior to baubling – I reckon to re-draw each original design around five times, with a few colour variations where possible, so as to have enough variety and at the same time so as to not take absolutley forever on each bauble. The gold ones will, however, be a rarity. They were originally done for a good friend who is very, very particular about her Christmas tree decorations and…

The Devil’s in my Baubles!

I said I didn’t have time to do Christmas baubles this year, but they were fun last year and quite popular and it seemed a great shame not to have them, so at the last minute… Here are some of a delivery of around 95 empty baubles, all ready to be ‘done’: The calendars are at the printers, the Christmas card has been painted and has gone the same way, I have completed a commission, and the first 3 etchings of this term are all underway. At this point, even though I’m actually on holiday, I am feeling pretty efficient…
