Easter exhibition at Spring Farm Arts

Lately I have got less actual artwork done than I would like, however if you are in the Somerset (UK) area, or feel like making the expedition in this direction next weekend, you can come along ans see some of the things i painted earlier 😉

From Friday 6th – Monday 9th Spring Farm Arts opens its doors once more to the public. Spring Farm Arts is a little group of artists who work or live in our tiny village of Moorlinch and have studios / gallery space at Spring Farm. We are:

Jenny Graham – paintings, etchings, Anne Farmer – paintings
Helen Jones – jewellery
Clio Graham – pottery
Silver Tree Crystal – glassware
and Nancy Farmer (me, of course) – paintings, etchings

…and we’ll all be on hand to talk about our work and especially happy to sell you things!

So, one of the things that has held me back from working has been the re-creation of our Spring Farm Arts website in wordpress.com… ever-so much more convenient than my home made site, I have to admit.

…what I omitted to tell you when I first posted this was the actual venue address! So here you go:

Nancy I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed discovering your work for the first time last Saturday at Yandels in Martock. My Husband & I were with some very dear friends of ours, who were there to look at the wood. They have started a Social Enterprise project, recycling wood scraps.
Anyway I visited the Gallery and was delighted to find, Dog on a Broomstick & Tea on the Lawn. I stood looking at them for a long time as they really facsinated me. I know I shall end up buying them both and can’t wait to re-visit. I’m busily looking at the rest of your subjects and enjoying all of them.
    Kind regards

    1. Hello Angela, that’s lovely to hear, thank you very much! If you by any chance can make it to our Easter weekend at Spring Farm Arts I will have a lot more of the paintings and prints to look though – not, of course, that I’d wish you not to go to Yandles – it’s such a good place! best wishes and thanks for such a kind comment… Nancy
